  • For more than a quarter of a century, collectors Sid and Terry Garrison avidly sought mid-century Scandinavian ceramics, resulting in one of world’s best collections. Their astonishing range of treasures represent many of the Nordic region’s most well-known artists – such as Wilhelm Kage, Brendt Friberg, Stig Lindberg, Gunnar Nylund and Axel Salto.   • Cultivating Nordic Traditions: Teaching Tools 2019 Grant   This grant provides a one-time award of up to $1,000 to an emerging craft instructor for a purchase of tools and equipment that will expand their teaching capacity. This grant aims to support the preservation and cultivation of traditional Nordic crafts by investing in the next generation of craft practitioners and instructors.
