mnartists.org is extremely pleased to be launching the long planned for and much anticipated arts events calendar on mnartists.org. This enhancement to the site is completely unique in arts events calendars and a dramatic improvement from the previous mnartists.org news & events system.

I’m sure it’ll be an improvement, but why is it unique?

First, as you’ll see, this events calendar is self-posting. So, just as artists and arts organizations are creating their own mnartists.org profiles and pages, the events calendar allows you to post your own events! You are in control of promoting your art events! (But of course, we’re still here to help!)

Second, the calendar function is fully integrated into mnartists.org to help you connect in more ways with your audience. What does that mean? Good news for you. When you post your event on mnartists.org you also have the ability to link that event back to your artist page. This allows you to give examples of your work(images of your visual art, MP3’s of your sound, pdf’s of your writing, etc.) You can also add links to other artists who are associated or participating with you in the event. And if there is an article or review about your or your organization on mnartists.org in the articles archives that can be linked to your event listing too!

Who can post events on the mnartists.org site?

Any and all mnartists.org members artists and arts organizations can post events on the calendar, if you are not a member yet all you have to do is register…it’s free! (Click here to register .)

I’m not very good with computers (my son/daughter/mother/grandmother helped me with my mnartists.org site)!

How to submit your event

To Start: (each of these will have images attached to illustrate)

1. Log into mnartists.org

2. Click on Calendar

3. Click on Submit an Event at the bottom of the far right column
