Quarter Acre Lifestyle | Captains of Industry

Quarter Acre Lifestyle was founded in New Zealand by two brothers, drummer Aaron and bassist Cameron Pollock. In 2000, Aaron moved to the US and the band consequently became a global effort. Since recording a self-titled album in Minneapolis, Minnesota in early 2006, their music has evolved into a sound they can call their own in a brand-new second album, Blood on the Lawn.

Archaica | From the Very First Day

After months of seemingly futile efforts getting a music project off the ground with a couple talented friends, Thompson Aderenkomi(bass) was looking for more. Eric Johnson (vocals) joined as a fresh perspective for the band and as an outlet of musical expression for him. Eric had always been involved in singing and songwriting, and had been involved with various bands and choirs since he was young. Soon after Eric joined, the lead guitarist took a job in Florida, and the other guitarist decided to pursue other interests. This left Thompson and Eric with a problem that was soon turned into an opportunity. Jordan Hanson (drummer), a long time friend, who was looking for a place to rock, as the band he was in had broken up, was called, and was immediately interested. Then Jason Blair (guitarist) was called because everyone who knows him, knows his natural ability to turn electric guitar strings into face-melting solos and hypnotizing riffs. Soon after their first practice in January of 2007, Archaica was born. Born to rock.
