FALL SERIES PHOTOGRAPH THEME: STREET FASHION This fall, capture the sights and experiences of Fall Fashion Weekend, the quintessential Twin Cities look, or create impromptu photo shoots at different event locations over the weekend.
MNfashion FLASH Fall Series Information Minnesota fashion designers, fashion photographers, and stylists team up, flaunt your talent, and create stunning photographs. MNfashion FLASH is a partnership between MNfashion and mnartists.org sponsored by West Photo. There will be 4 series between January 2008 and January 2009 with winning photographs selected by a panel of esteemed judges in the fashion and photography industries. MNfashion FLASH is coordinated by Anna Lee. The objective of this fashion series is to promote mnartists.org as a viable resource for artists of all genres and encouraging collaboration between and within the local fashion community to foster artistic exploration and growth. The three winning photographs for this series will appear on the The Minneapoline street fashion blog and on mnartists.org. A former editorial Creative Director, he is responsible for Cindy Crawford’s very first magazine cover and is also credited with the birth of editorial fashion coverage in the Twin Cities. He successfully made the switch to retail marketing and developed the Sunday circular for the Dayton Hudson Department Store Company, working with Ringling Brothers, The Miss America Pageant, The Cosby Show, The Ice Capades and others to numerous to mention. An avowed magazine freak, he is currently an independent marketing/design consultant, a vintage costume jewelry purveyor and the President of the Friends of the Goldstein Museum of Design.
