Our Judges For The Fall Series

Bill Bloedow- Creative Consultant

Bill Bloedow was born with printers ink in his blood and a craving for a designer layette. A former editorial Creative Director, he is responsible for Cindy Crawford’s very first magazine cover and is also credited with the birth of editorial fashion coverage in the Twin Cities. He successfully made the switch to retail marketing and developed the Sunday circular for the Dayton Hudson Department Store Company, working with Ringling Brothers, The Miss America Pageant, The Cosby Show, The Ice Capades and others to numerous to mention. An avowed magazine freak, he is currently an independent marketing/design consultant, a vintage costume jewelry purveyor and the President of the Friends of the Goldstein Museum of Design.

Mary O’Regan- Fashion Editor- Metro Magazine

METRO Style Editor Mary O’Regan got her first taste of the Twin Cities fashion scene as a part-time model. Dolled up in high heels and eyeliner, she strutted down catwalks at First Avenue, Barfly and the Fine Line for designers like Labrador, Laura Fulk and George Moskal, but found that her true passion lay in the words behind the gowns. Now you’ll find her on the sidelines at runway shows, plotting stories about handbags and hairdos, and perusing the racks at edgy boutiques -- partially for work, but mostly for her closet. Mary is also the editor of Minnesota Bride magazine and has written for City Pages, Utne Reader and the Southwest Journal. Link to the Blog:

Ellen Dahl- Photographer, The Minneapoline

Ellen Dahl is a graphic designer living in Minneapolis. She started the street fashion blog The Minneapoline, which received third place in Street Clash, an international amateur street fashion blog contest. Her photo-snapping led her to do the street style page for Vita.mn, and she was recently commissioned to produce a piece for Current TV, showcasing the street fashion of Minneapolis. In her spare time she hangs with the bf Justin, and tries to keep her dog, Devo, out of trouble. Link to blog: http://www.theminneapoline.blogspot.com
