The Precious Object brings together 14 artists from locales throughout Minnesota in the inaugural exhibition of mnartists.org's ARTmn visual arts series, presented in partnership with the Hennepin County Public Library
Ginny Maki lives and works in Minneapolis. She received a BFA with honors from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2008; with a major in studio art emphasizing painting, drawing, and printmaking and minors in art history, foreign studies, and photography. In 2007, she received a UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunity) Grant for an underwater photography project, which was later featured in Photographer Forum's Best of College Photography Annual 2008. She has exhibited at the Duluth Art Institute, Burnet Gallery in the Chambers Hotel, MCAD Gallery, and Tweed Museum of Art, where it is included in the permanent collection.
