Episode 257, Some Assembly Required

Episode 257 features work by The Beat Junkies, Cassetteboy, Deskhop, Dsico, The Evolution Control Committee, Michael Gregory, The Kleptones, Laso Halo, Lobsterdust, Music From The Film, Okapi, DJ Squid Viscus, DJ Tripp and Myeck Waters. Check it out HERE.

Check out Episode 257 for a track by Okapi, off of their brand new Illegal Art release, “Love Him”. It’s a 100% sample-based record featuring at least 100 different artists, chopped, mixed and reprocessed in an homage to composer Aldo Kapi. Also on Episode 257, TWO tracks from the upcoming Evolution Control Committee release, which has pushed its release back just a bit since this episode was produced. Look for it very early in 2011…

Be sure to check out the SAR Blog, at its new location: www.blog.some-assembly-required.net. You’ll find Q&A’s with over 150 of the artists we play weekly on Some Assembly Required, along with countless archived episodes of the show. You can find this week’s episode there as well.
