Who is LoLa? The League of Longfellow Artists (LoLa) is a group of artists and arts supporters dedicated to bringing to light the treasures of artistic expression created by artists living or working in the greater Longfellow neighborhood of south Minneapolis. Having begun in the summer of 2009 as a small grassroots effort, LOLA now flourishes as an artist-run annual art crawl featuring mediums of all kinds.
LoLa is issuing today a call for artists to register to join the 2011 LoLa Art Crawl. Registration is open to all artists who live or work in the greater Longfellow neighborhood.
The 2011 LoLa Art Crawl will be held August 27 and 28, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is a self-guided tour of galleries, studios, exhibits at local businesses, and exhibits in artists' homes or studios throughout the Longfellow neighborhood.
To register, visit the LoLa website at www.lolaartcrawl.com and click on "LoLa artist application". Complete the fillable PDF form and click the "submit form" button to email to: email@example.com.
