Rubber Chicken Theater to Hold Auditions for Steve Martin Comedy
Rubber Chicken Theater will be holding auditions for its April 2012 production of the Steve Martin comedy Picasso at the Lapin Agile on Sunday and Monday, January 22 and 23, at 7pm at the Playhouse Conservatory for the Performing Arts, located at 230 West Superior Street in the Wells Fargo building in downtown Duluth. The entrance is on 3rd Avenue West between Superior and Michigan Streets.
There are roles for a wide variety of men and women, and everyone is encouraged to audition. Previous acting experience, as well as the ability to play the banjo and wear an arrow-through-the-head, is helpful but not necessary. There will be cold readings from the script.
The show is being directed by Greg J. Anderson, a Rubber Chicken Theater veteran who has appeared in numerous theatrical productions throughout the Twin Ports including Chicago and The Full Monty at the Duluth Playhouse, and The Awesome 80s Prom and all the Holiday Comedy Revues for Rubber Chicken Theater. Greg recently directed Wait Until Dark for the County Seat Theater in Cloquet.
