The Walker seeks a full-time, non-exempt Department Coordinator for our renowned Performing Arts department. The Coordinator provides a full-range of administrative coordination for program projects and events, supports the Senior Curator (travel details and reports, appointments, creating presentations), and assists other department staff in a wide range of program-related duties as needed. This position manages the department intern program (including creation of performance program notes); oversees annual public Season Launch; manages season brochure content/photos, and coordinates various patron events. This position also coordinates social media activity with Marketing and related new media content with the Web Editor; supports grant writing/reporting; and helps organize logistics for artist site visits including hospitality, travel, and accommodations. The Coordinator serves as liaison between the Senior Curator and the public for incoming and outgoing communications.
