The Black-eyed Snakes are the primal outlet for musician Alan Sparhawk, who also fronts the melancholic and soulful band Low from Duluth.

The “Snakes” are Blues-based, punk-infused and influenced by the 80s noise scene. Their intensely raw and visceral live shows are something to be experienced.

Sparhawk, a.k.a. “Chicken Bone George” is joined in the Snakes by “Big House” Bobby Olson on guitar, “Smokin’” Brad Nelson on drums, and brother Justin “The Doctor” Sparhawk on percussion.
