Studied for 8 years at Writer’s Studio in New York City, with Phillip Schultz, the 2008 Pulitzer Prize winner for poetry. Co-writer and co-producer of "La Natividad", with in the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater and El Mercado Central, 2006-2009, and promoter of "A Taste of Phillips" Art Show 2008-2010.
Awards
Loft Mentor Series in Poetry, 2008-2009. My short story “You Can Say”, won honorable mention at the 2008 Alabama Writer’s Conclave, my poem "I Will Watch You Through the Middle of the Night" won 2nd place at the 2009 conclave. My poem "Quitting Time" was nominated for a 2010 Pushcart Prize.
