My name is Tony Wallin and I was born and raised in South Saint Paul, Minnesota. I Graduated from South Saint Paul High School in 2004 and now will Graduate from Augsburg College in 2009. At Augsburg I am a Theatre Major with an emphasis in performance and have been in a numerous amount of productions there. Ranging from Becket to Chekov, form Brecht to Shakespeare and many more. Outside of Augsburg College I have Performed at the Walker art center, Theatre L’ Homme Diue and Summer Playhouse. I started my theatre career at the age 13 in the musical “Annie” at the high school playing five different characters. One of my favorite times in theatre was when I played the part of Clarin in “Life is a Dream”. It was a comedic role that ended in him getting shot. For me this was the best thing ever because for once I got to show my sentimental side on stage. I think what makes me distinct about my style is that I can make anything funny and audience reliable to a show. In my family I am the only theatre person, and the rest are not even artist at all. But for me that’s great because then it make me stand out in my family as different. My best overall quality is that I can talk to anyone and make them feel comfortable and I think that kindness can be read on stage. Outside of theatre I love photograph, and that is all I think about. In the Future, I hope to work with Disney so that I can work on theatre and work with children and help make there dreams come true. One qoute thing thaty I would like to qoute is Puck form a “Mid Summers Night Dream” “Give me you hands if we be friends and robins shall restore amends.”
