CC Burnett is an emerging artist from the Midwest with a passion for science, healing and experimental art focusing in watermedia and taking chances.
From early on her career path gravitated towards creativity and science sparking her journey into visual arts after a life changing accident.
She tempts the viewer to interact with her art and trigger an intense emotional response.
Burnett has exhibited her art in Midwest shows and has recently emerged into the national and international stage.
Burnett is currently working on a watercolor portrait/figurative series titled, “Story Telling”. This body of work portrays the character seen in our aging population’s faces and gestures, telling their unique story through portraiture.
Her future plans are to develop curriculum relating to color theory and experimental art. She is also working on illustrating a children’s book she has written.
Burnett is a member of the Red River Watercolor Society, National Collage Society, National Watercolor Society, Brush and Palette Club and has earned signature status in the International Society of Acrylic Painters with her entry of “Chaos Theory” juried into the 15th Annual ISAP Open International Exhibition in Paso Robles, CA.
