I have a degree from the University of Minnesota in Communications with the equivalent of a minor in Graphic Journalism. I have been employed in the field of communications since 1973. My work experience includes several years in public and community relations for non-profits, seventeen years as a graphic designer for Harcourt Brace and Jovanovich (now Advanstar), and ten years as a business owner producing award winning identity pieces to promote businesses, products, services, and conferences.
