Experience

Sarah LaRose-Holland

Sarah currently performs with the Christopher Watson Dance Company, Jeffrey Peterson Dance, and her own company Kinetic Evolutions. She has performed with several independent choreographers and dance companies, some of these are: Wil Swanson, David Parsons, Patricia Kenny, Erin Thompson’s 45 Chartreuse, Sam Costa’s 10,000 Dances, Zenon Dance Company, Klein Dance and Dance Alive!

Sarah is the Assistant Director of the Christopher Watson Dance Company and Presenter of the Kinetic Kitchen and Kinetic Playground dance series. She is the Artistic Director of Kinetic Evolutions dance company. Sarah also teaches at BALLAREteatro Center for Performing Arts.

In addition to dance, Sarah enjoys practicing yoga and training in the martial arts. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Minor in Dance. Sarah hopes to apply for her own 501(c)3 non-profit status for her kinetic endeavors.

Sarah was contracted with Perpich Center for Arts Education as the Conference Coordinator for the 5th Annual Minnesota Retreat for the Arts 2006. She is also worked as the Support Coordinator for the Arts Quality Teaching Network at the Perpich Center from 2006-2008.

The Kinetic Playground is an annual youth dance series held at the Perpich Center for Arts Education in Golden Valley, Minnesota. These usually take place in January. This series showcases youth choreography and offers master classes for the participants.

The Kinetic Kitchen is an ongoing dance series hosted at Patrick's Cabaret in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The series showcases local professional choreography. If you're interested in showing work in this series, please contact Sarah at sarahlarose@hotmail.com
