My paintings are my interpretations of images, either real or imagined. Each one has captured a beauty or uniqueness to share with the viewer and invites them to explore their own concepts of imagination and reality.
Creative history: as a life time student, I have taken classes with world famous artists in each of the countries I have lived in. The mediums I have worked with and taught: include: watercolor, pastel, oil, ink, acrylic, collage, encaustic (an ancient Egyptian art form), painting on silk, tile, glass, mosaic, needlework, quilting, knitting, crochet and photography. This plus my experience working in an art & photography supply store, has given me a well rounded artistic education.
My painting styles include: realistic, oriental impressionistic and abstract designs. I have exhibited my paintings in the U.S., Canada and overseas. In each of these places I have won awards for my paintings.
