Experience
I discovered my passion and talent for making pottey during my high school years in White Bear Lake, MN. I continued my ceramic studies at Lakewood Community College and in 1979 created my first studio in White Bear Lake and began my business.
I currently maintain a studio at my home in North Branch, Mn where I have lived the past twenty years raising a family of four children with my wife Barbara.
The forms and techniques I now use took me years of discovery and experience to develop.
The artistry of the Creator has always captivated me. After years of gardening and observations during nature walks I began to draw from the botanical images I had seen. The ordered patterns and graceful liveliness of plants are the inspiration for my work with porcelain clay.
