This is another photo of Jack Ruhr Field, this time at the end of the regular season in 06. The original goal was to get a color evening photo with a few thunderhead clouds overhead--unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. In the end I took several photos under the lights and I liked this one the best... Not the best game for the Mudhens as they lost to Hastings Hawks. I'll remember this game since it is the only time I've ever seen anyone throw an "euphus" pitch in an actual game. The batter took a mighty swing and hit the ball all of 5 feet. The surprised pitcher stumbled off the mound, picked it up and rushed the throw. Subsequetnly the ball ended up in right field and the bewildered batter stood at second...
