I usually laugh to myself when I see this piece. I am not a gloomy, macabre person....so I do these because 1) I can and 2) I find this type of visual fits right in to our modern world. The background is a shot of the frozen Purgatory Creek and the skeleton I shot from a marvelous collection in The Burke Museum of Natural History which we visited in 2012...on the campus of the U of Washington, in Seattle. The hanger on the top was created in Photoshop, where everything was layers together and blended. Oh yeah, there's also some fallen oak leaves in there somewhere!
