Illuminated Reef is a participatory installation that honors the coral reef community of biodiversity with sculptural elements built with new, discarded and repurposed materials.The audience  participated on multiple levels. They  swam  fish lanterns.  Listened to the music. Followed the current  of fish around the reef to view the coral lit by black light,  illuminated internally or the white lit bleached area. Shared stories with firends and the artists of their own experiences with coral reefs.
