Moveable Feast Bothy was a part of the Embassy Gallery annuale in July 2015. For the Annuale (an anti-Edinburgh Art Festival festival), we build a modular "bothy" which we could take apart and flatpack in two hours, and transport it around the city, re-constructing it in another site within two hours. In this way, the itinerant structure took up residence five different times in the course of the 17-day event: inside The Depot (gallery), on the sidewalk of Pleasance Road, at Mortonhall Caravan Park outside the city center, alongside the Canal for Canal Days, and on the lawn of ECA (Art School). Almost every night was programmed by one of our build team, or another local artist. It served as a lecture tent, a cinema, a coffee house, a camper, a studio, and finally an art exhibition.
