Final photo from Lost Creek, located on the Chequamegon peninsula in far north west Wisconsin. This is a long exposure photo, perhaps 20-30 seconds. As we hiked back, wolves began to howl--they were perhaps 4-500 yards away--excellent way to end our time on Lost Creek.
These images are from a tour along the south shore of Lake Superior, from Crisp Point in the U.P. of Michigan to Cornucopia, Wisconsin. The trip lasted 10 days (late September into October 2007)-it was a bit of a continuation from last years drive around Lake Superior. There were many places skipped because of time last year, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan was one location that I thought received short shrift.
There are several more photos than last year and this is simply because there was more time to concentrate on photography and less worry about driving...
