This is one piece of a triptych series. I created it to increase awareness of the lack of representation of men in artworks. Typically women are beautified and objectified in art, given they are considered to many as more aesthetically pleasing to look at with their feminine curves and fragile figure. My motivation was to attempt to show the beauty in men as equal to that of women.
