This leather handbound album features three windows capped with recycled stainless steel frames. The square frames are components from semi tractor dashboards - they originally framed mileage meters. The windows extend entirely through the cover, as well as the endsheets, to expose the first page of the book, on which your three favorite photos may be mounted. Wires hover over each window to allow metal diesel parts, strung onto each wire, to freely move when the book is handled. Each window is lined with smooth red leather. Red highly textured handmade paper lines the interior of the covers as endsheets. Black acid-free paper has been bound into the book, handsewn around two binding cords. Five grey leathers accompany red and black leather on the album. The hand stitched headbands, sewn directly into the spine edges, are comprised of leather cords wrapped with grey and black thread. The cover hinges are reinforced with 55 lb tensile strength fabric to ensure heirloom quality.
