In “Untitled” 4 people in their mid-60s (originally from Ex.Yugoslavia) perform a transcribed conversation from the piece “Reenactment/
Process” from 2016, in which four people in their mid-20s discuss the inter-generational frictions relating to the conflict in Ex-Yugoslavia
that they experience between themselves and their parents.
The participants in “Untitled” perform this transcript together and comment on and react to the content. They touch on
issues of responsibility, the cultural and historical conditions that they think brought these tensions about and how they think there can be
resolution and forgiveness.
“Reenactment/Process” from 2016 and “Untitiled” from 2017 make up a body of work that seeks to stretch a historical time period
between two generations and ask questions about how intersubjective historical tensions can be overcome.
