Patrick's Cabaret announces Patrick's Zombie Cabaret taking place at the Fine Line Music Cafe on October 22, 2009. The event, a benefit for the Cabaret, features:

Kinetic Evolutions dancers Una Setia, Jen Swanson, Kayla Schiltgen & Megan Bridges will perform "A Touch of Sass", choreographed by Sarah LaRose-Holland
Venus DeMars of transgender punk-glam band All The Pretty Horses
Indie-rock group My Valkyrie
Funk-house DJ Spur
Drag performance: Heidi Ho and Mistress Victoria
Other attractions include a costume contest, professional make-up artist, silent auction, cash bar and more. "We're thrilled to be at the Fine Line this year," said Amy Hero-Jones, Executive Director of Patrick's Cabaret. "It's a terrific venue for showcasing some of the Twin Cites most exciting artists, and a great way for us to reach out to a wider community." Since January, the Cabaret has hosted close to three thousand audience members and presented 275+ artists. As part of the organization's mission, the performers receive 100% of the ticket sales, so the Cabaret depends upon financial support fundraising events, individual donors, grants and space rental.
