Born in Pasadena, California and now a resident of Minnesota, I finished my undergraduate studies in Graphic Design and continue my professional development while pursuing my personal work and exploring design for cultural institutions.
Since moving to the Twin Cities in 2012, volunteering and various events involved me with galleries and artists in the area.
I volunteer at The Soap Factory on the PR, Event, and Installation crews and participated in the Soap Factory's biennial exhibit: Here We Are Nice.
I volunteer, take classes, and regularly visit the Minnesota Center for the Book Arts. In 2015, I was selected as one of six artists chosen for the MCBA / Jerome Book Arts Mentorship (Series V), working closely with the staff and presenting my work in a capstone exhibit.
My work is driven by my professional background and education and leverages the visual language of modern graphic design, inspired by language, systems, typography, and the traditions of concrete poetry. Recently my work has begun to incorporate technology and how to build iterative systems and processes.
