Sander & Co., Inc. Feature Spaces: March 2004

GALLERY and/or RETAIL SPACE ON CENTRAL AVENUE. Two suites with great individuality, each situated in a wonderful historic building located in Minneapolis’ fantastic art district. Building offers on-site management & maintenance, coffee/sandwich shop, comfortable community, and personality plus.

Suite 1618-110 has 2,200 square feet of open space, with approximately 14-foot ceilings, hard wood floors, and freshly painted canvas white walls. There is a small office/storage space, a partial wall, and no windows, which afford ample wall space for displaying artwork. Some natural light enters through a window on a direct exterior access door from the building parking lot. A second door enters from the coffee shop common hallway. Suite includes two wall air conditioning units and a sink.

Suite 1620-113 is situated in the historic General Mills building, birthplace of Art-A-Whirl, formerly Artist Collective, and more recently ArtCo Gallery. Two large windows look out onto Central Avenue to catch the morning sun and bustling traffic. Just under 2,000 square feet, this suite offers a great location with a nicely incorporated office/storage space, concrete floors, and vast white walls made for exhibiting artwork.

Please contact Brenda Swanson of Sander & Company, Inc. 612-781-6565, ext. 101 with your interest &/or questions. Showings are available Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Jon-Does the 800 include the apt, or just the storefront? Thanks!

Hello!

I have space available @ the Purity Bakery Building located at 500 East 36th Street in South Minneapolis. It is a first floor space with nice big windows and great tile floors. It is actually 2 offices side by side each one about 20X20 or so....with high ceilings. The mortgage company that has been a tenant for the past year is moving out and she did alot of nice painting and upkeep of the space. It looks great. It would be good for offices or artist endeavors. I have not had a final word on what the rent will be but somewhere in the 700-800 range would be my guess. It is not a live -in space however . Please call me at 612-423-3588 if you have any questions. I will know the exact measurements and price by Monday the 22nd of March when the owner is back in town.

Thank you!
andy

I am looking for a work studio space appropriate for oil painting. Somthing fairly decent sized, with some large windows and access to sink, to clean brushes, etc.
Please reply to this message with any available places in the Minneapolis area, esp. warehouse NE area.

Thanks
