Kira Hagen -

I have a space that is 414 square feet has concrete floors, and windows. The space rents for less than $300. The building is located in North East Minneapolis on Central Ave. and is proud to be the birthplace of Art-A-Whirl and a participant of First Thursdays in the Arts District. If you'd like to learn more about the property please visit http://www.sanderco.com.

If you're interested in viewing the space please contact Brenda Swanson at 612-781-6565, ext. 101.

Hi-I'm new here,
My name is Matt and I'm a local sculptor looking for studio/warehouse space 2-7 thousand square feet for large-scale sculpting/molding/casting. somthing with an air-exchange system is even better. I've never leased warehouse space before so I have no Idea what the costs are. does anyone know of anything in the metro area available within the next 1-3 months?
Thanks!

Matt -

I have many different spaces available immediatly that may work for you in a 250,000 square foot building in the North East Minneapolis Arts District, Central Ave. to be exact. The building was the birthplace of Art-a-whirl, a local art event in the area, and is still very active with the event. Please contact Brenda Swanson at 612-781-6565, ext. 101 or http://brenda_swanson@sanderco.com for specifics and prices. If you'd like to peek at the spaces and building first check out the property for lease section of http://www.sanderco.com. Thank you and look forward to hearing from you!

I am looking for a space for a group of artists. We are visual artists, printmakers, musicians, and theatre producers, and are looking for a space, approximately 1000-2000 square feet. We would be interested in music rehearsal.

Let me know if you have any leads for us.

Thank you.

Howdy All-

Space will open in my shared studio at the end of July:

• 205 usable sq.ft. available in a rectangle layout
• complete space, including communal areas, is 900sq.ft.
• fridge, microwave, tunes
• at the interchange of highways 94/280
• 9-10 ft. ceilings (been a while since we measured)
• access doors in the space for large projects
• freight elevator
• bathroom/sink on same floor and also adjacent floors
• secure building
• post office box in the building for the studio
• $120 per month
• electricity/heat included with rent
• arts-friendly building management
• building has bi-annual art crawls
• looking for artists serious about their work

• non-smoker a must

• since it's shared space, the two of us that remain are hoping to continue the friendly atmosphere we've had in the space for the past 3 years

• there is only one window in the space, so pass-through ventilation is limited

• the space comes with two guys, myself - Jason (MFA UofM, video, installations, photography, painting, graphic design) and the other guy - Michael (BFA UofM, ceramics, video, fashion/textiles, painting, construction work); men or women are welcome to inquire, we don't bite.

If you or someone you know is interested, please contact us:

Jason

Michael

(cellular, might not call back until after 9pm)

Many thanks.

Seeking a small, inexpensive space with electricity that's okay with occasional noise. Will be sandblasting using an air compressor (sand completely contained in a blasting cabinet), and power engraving with a rotary tool, into/onto stone. Will be working very occasional evenings and weekends; maybe 5 hours a week.

I live in Plymouth, so I'm hoping to find space in the northwest suburbs if at all possible. However, I work (my "real job") downtown, and thus a downtown space might work too. Thank you!
