Oooh! Steven I've been meaning to email you about that. I'd love to be a subject for you. Since I'm also a photographer, I'd love to photo-assist if you're interested and need an extra hand.

Today...today I was a bad girl. Today I went to AX-MAN Surplus (god, they're my favorite) and bought a bunch of magnets for a promo piece for a show I have in April.

And then I went to home depot, and took multiple samples of every color of interior paint they carry... and they didn't like me too much after that. I tried to smile real cute, but my wiley charms must have paled in comparison to the 60+ lbs. of samples... Getting it all home on the bus was rather entertaining, too.

Oh, how we suffer for our art!

Lauren did you pretend you were just really indecisive about what color you want the kitchen? Hee hee!

We should all meet at my next show. It is the latest in my quarterly series. I am showing some new work and Hijack is previewing some work from their Yoko Ono show that opens at the Red Eye in a few weeks. Lots of dance for the lovelies. The show will be about an hour or a little less. Since it's a friend's studio, people usually hang for a while until its time to find some real trouble. There will be plenty of space to draw lines with our pelvises. Plus, I would love for you all to see what I'm up to besides typing.

I'm not quite sure. It was the best description I could come up with. Fortunately for me they did not develop them much further. The Big Base Treatment worked well. I was having flashbacks to my freshmen year of college when my next door neighbor and his girlfriend started making animal noises, pigs, monkeys, horses, etc... As I read my chemistry text, the noises got louder until I realized that they were at the "Petting" Zoo, you follow? They both were a couple of screamers. Wow. I spent more time in the library after that.

Jill, I'm glad the show went well. I did not realize at first that you were performing with The Flashers. Have you been doing that for a while?

I actually like the BLB stage for dancing. It's small but you are right on top of the audience and crowds are usually jovial. Last winter I performed at one of Leigh Combs' Blue Tables, poor little Colin performing his bizarre brand of vibrational dance for a room full of lesbians. They started clapping before I was done. So, I told them to settle down because I wasn't finished. Everyone went dead silent. Can you say awkward moment?

Experiencing comedy with all that booze on stage should be entertaining.

Oooooo, I love Ax-Man. If any one needs mylar or blue swimming pool liner with a sticky back, let me know. I have plenty of both. High quality stuff straight from Ax-Man.

Today I went to teach choir (I teach a studio at Watershed High School), but the choir wasn't there. So now I'm home for a little while before classes. I think I'm going to finish making a resume website for my dad to help out his job search.

Colin - I wrote your show in my planner - I hope to be there! Much dancing for the lovelies.

Rock! My roommate, Marc Guttman, teaches at Watershed, perhaps you know him. He's an odd little bunny.

Holy Crap! Yes, I LOVE Mark! In fact, I should say WE love Mark (Me, my partner Matt, and my sister Karlyn). We actually talk about how cool he is over dinner. I had no idea you guys were roommates. It really is a small world. I should have picked up on the LMNP connection, I guess I just spaced it.

We should all get together sometime soon.

Who else is struggling with Girl Scout Cookie control problems? I just can't stop. I grew up with cookies in the house, but now I can't handle it. I would weigh 800 pounds if I did. Now that I come to think of it, an 800 pound man as graceful as myself could make some serious cash on the carnival circuit.

Hey does anyone have any Girl Scout Cookies they want to get rid of?

My new marketing campaign...

Hey Ray,

How involved are you with the North Side Arts Collective? I would love to come meet the group and find out more about what you're up to.

Also, I don't know about Kellie or where she works. Rosy could probably tell you. She might be braindead this week after putting up her show and presenting a workshop last week.
