oh lordy lordy... will someone please pinch me? Wow. I thought my heart stopped for a moment. I d love to take up your offer. At the moment, Im a caretaker for an elderly ( 94 years old ) lady, a delightful lady so Im not able to roam free far into adventrous life like taking up your office and be born free. But if it si something that I can use for part time, throwing mud of plaster at my sculpture and casint it.. in a teeny weeny bit space then I might consider. I am not sure how much time I can use it. It s all depend on my college assignement. On the other hand, I ce dream of getting a studio one day. It just break my heart when I hear the word " studio" because that s where I belong.

One other dream that I have to is create studio space and invited women Deaf artists selected across the nation. Tell them the studio is for free in exchange of community service with art toward Deaf community and some inservice training, and of course use Artist's Way. It have been sitting ont he shelf for overa decade.

I think you are a kind person and we could use more people like you. Keep in touch. I thank you for your respond.

Ellie

My name is Daniel. I am in the middle of deciding whether or not to move to a space where I can live and do my woodworking or just stay in my apartment and rent art space. Do you still find space for people? I would be interested.

Thanks,
Daniel Minor

Tai Chi Studo space?

I'm looking for a studio space, perhaps 1600sf, to teach Tai Chi and meditation classes. It should have hardwood floors and fairly high ceilings. Class sizes tend to be small, so this can't be too expensive. I live in NE Mpls so I'd really love to focus close to home like NE or the warehouse district. I'd love a space I could grow into over time and help build community. Shared space with a compatible group might work.

Office space in Minneapolis for creative professionals

We’re a new two-person design and ad shop looking to sublet some of our 2400 square feet of office space to two other creative professionals. Ideally, we’re looking for freelancers or one/two person firms that we could, from time to time, share projects with. Our team is made up of a graphic designer and copywriter/account manager. So, a web designer would be great. So would a production artist. But even a freelance media buyer, PR person or a couple of graphic designers would make sense. We’ll provide you with a desk, if needed, along with all utilities, phone line, cable Internet, electric, etc.

You’re most important prerequisite is a good personality. We’re an easy-going, fun pair and will be looking for like-minded individuals. The second prerequisite will be your ability to pay rent on time. Oh, what is the rent, you ask? Negotiable depending on the situation. But figure approximately $300-400 per person. That’s an incredible deal for this amount of space with stone walls, open beam ceilings, and big wooden posts running down the center – that type of stuff. Very cool garden-level warehouse.

The space is currently being totally renovated, but email us if you’re interested and, if it makes sense, we can show you the space. We’re looking to have you move in April 1, with a signed agreement by end of February. The building is on the corner of 22nd and Como in Minneapolis (about a mile north of 94 and about a mile west of 280).

Amy, If you are still looking for space, we have three studios in our building, all on the second floor with great light/big windows, tall ceilings in a building with its own gallery and a very cool mixture of artists and creative professionals. We're also on the Art-A-Whirl tour, and just down the street from Architectural Antiques and the Northrup King Building.

Call us @ 612.623.3782 or e-mail to qarma@3ad.cc

Thanks, Jonathan

Hello,
I'm Allison and I am looking for a little studio space in Minneapolis, south mpls or uptown area would be best but I am familiar with Northeast too. I am a jeweler (both a fabricator and beader) and do not need much space, but do need good ventilation, good electricity and (drum roll please) a SINK. Very Important Information. Are there any jewelers or other artist out there who have a free corner in their studio and looking for a studio mate? The only place I cannot consider is any studio in a basement, as that's what I'm trying to get away from.
I have a full time job and many hobbies, so I would only use the studio on some evenings but mostly weekends, and most likely 1 day a week at any given time. I can only afford $100/mo. so I'm not sure if there is anything out there for that little of an amount. If I am way off base with rent, please let me know what is the going rate to share studio space so I can start to re-tool my budget and you might see a delightful message from me in 6 months or so. I don't need a showroom or even that much square footage, but for those not familiar with jewelry, it can get a little loud and the drill I use sound just like the drill a dentist uses so ye best be warned! Arrh!
Thank you for your time,
Allison

Looking for a shared space/collaborative or individual studio!
I am a large scale sculptor dealing with landscape and architecture. Looking for an industrial type space with natural light or a smaller space for medium scale. Would be interested in sharing. Look forward to hearing from anyone working in this community!
