Drafts and Draughts is Minnesota Fringe's multidisciplinary scratch series. Featuring staged works-in-progress (theatre, dance, improvisation, storytelling, spoken word, magic, interdisciplinary work), each evening features three to five works of varying lengths and phases of development.
Fringe provides a technician to cue provided sounds and to design simple lighting. Artists work with Fringe's AD to create specific questions most helpful for spurring further development. Audience feedback is gathered through writing for efficiency and effectiveness between each draft.
Applications are still being accepted for all 2018-19 dates: Monday, November 12; Monday, January 21; Monday, April 8; Monday, June 3. Learn more and apply: http://www.minnesotafringe.org/drafts. All 2018-19 events will be at The Playwrights' Center.
