Make it Move

The inaugural event for Make it Move will be a juried exhibition entitled Body and Machine. Artists are invited to submit kinetic and interactive work made in the last three years that address the relationship of the human body and machines. $1000+ worth of awards will be given in three categories: Mechanical, Digital, and Biomorphic. 

The application deadline for this exhibition is January 15, 2015. 

The exhibition will take place in the Arts District of Northeast Minneapolis in the 3rd Floor Gallery of the Northrup King Building in March of 2015.

The exhibition will be open to all artists in the states of Iowa, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Jurors for the exhibition will be Minneapolis artists Brad Jirka, Bill Klaila, and Jack Pavlik. This competition is open to students as well as professional artists; collaboratives are welcome to apply as well.

March 28-29, 2015 Artwork returned to artists, coordinated by Make it Move staff.
