Chalk Art Street Event | Free family-friendly event | June 16th
Hosted by 4th Street Market District and CapitolRiver Council
On Saturday, June 16th from 10am-1pm, part of 4th Street in Lowertown (adjacent to the Farmers Market) will be transformed for a one-day Chalk Art event. This pop-up festival will feature live-action art, with local artists fashioning colorful creations with chalk using the street as their canvas. Each artist will interpret the theme “Saint Paul thought the years,” and there will also be opportunities for public interaction and participation for people of all ages.
This event will take place on 4th Street in Lowertown adjacent to the Farmers Market, on the segment between Wacouta and Wall which will be temporarily closed to traffic. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
A limited number of spaces and stipends are available for artists to create a chalk rectangle on the Street on June 16th from 9-2pm.
The Theme is “Saint Paul through the years”
8 - 10 artists needed
Event is 10 - 1pm
Artists need to be there by 9.
Supplies are NOT provided; artists will need to bring their own chalks and anything else they need. Chosen artists will receive a stipend of $250.
