Capitol Region Watershed District (CRWD) is holding its first display competition called “H2O on the Go”. We are seeking all interested artists, and experience with mobile art/display creation is appreciated but not a requirement.
CRWD is seeking inventive design proposals for a display to showcase at community events and in our office that educates community members about the health of our water resources and the crucial role we play in protecting them. We are committed to incorporating artists and artwork into many areas of CRWD's work, which is why we are excited to engage local artists with this new endeavor.
A Review Committee, including artists Seitu Jones and Christine Baeumler, and Northern Spark Co-Director Steve Dietz, will review proposals and select finalists to create prototypes.
A $250 award will be presented to each finalist for prototype development. A $5,000 award will be presented to the winner for fabrication of their design.
Join us at an informational workshop on February 5th, from 6 – 7:30 PM, to learn more information about the competition and work of CRWD: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/h2o-on-the-go-informational-workshop-ticket.... RSVP’s appreciated.
