Calling all artists that teach or want to teach in The Northeast Minneapolis Arts District ( NE-AD). Please share your contact info with us.
The Northeast Minneapolis Arts District is excited to embark upon a new project of creating a printed and digital art class catalog of classes offered in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. The first step is to compile a complete list of artists and studios that offer art classes within the NE-AD. Our second step will be to gather interested teaching artists together at a community meeting to assess your needs and discuss what we as teaching artists can do together under the NE-AD umbrella.
The guiding criteria is that artists & teachers must teach or plan to teach the course/class/lecture within the boundaries of the NE-AD. See map: (See map: https://northeastminneapolisartsdistrict.org/visit/district-map/)
People without work-studios or classroom space in the Arts District will have opportunities to find teaching space within the District to hold courses. If you have an idea for a class and are looking for an Arts District location to host the class, please mention this in your response.
The NE-AD Hatch committee will use this collated list of art classes and teachers to contact you so we can hear more about your needs as a teacher and work toward a printed and digital course catalog to market to the broader Minnesota community show casing amazing talent and opportunities we have within the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District.
Please pass this "Call for NE-AD Teaching Artist Contact Info" to any other teaching artists you may know.
