Calling all Filmmakers!
Eagan Art House invites you to submit your short film to the second annual Harvest of Art Short Film Festival.
Selected short films will be screened at the 2019 Harvest of Art Celebration at Eagan Art House on September 7, 2019. In addition to screening, films submissions will have the opportunity to win a $200 cash award for Best of Contest and award certificates for each of the following categories: Writing, Sound & Music, Cinematography, Acting, Directing, Overall Theme & Message, and Creativity.
Short Film & Filmmaker Eligibility
- Films must be moving pictures 20 minutes in length or less, in total, and be family-friendly
- Films must have been completed within the last year
- Filmmakers must be 14 years of age or older
- Filmmakers must reside in the State of Minnesota or have a significant connection to Minnesota
How to Submit Your Film
All short film submissions must include: a completed application form, a digital film submission, and a $10 entry fee. Fee assistance is available on request. Choose one application method from the following options:
Online: Submit your application online at discovereagan.com. Click Register & Reserve and enter the activity #15028001-FS1 in the search function.
Email: Send your completed paper application via email [email protected].
Mail: Submit your application materials by mail to Eagan Art House: 3981 Lexington Ave S., Eagan, MN 55123.

Application & Judging Timeline
All application materials must be submitted by August 16, 2019 (Early Bird Deadline is August 1st). After a judging panel considers all submissions, filmmakers who are selected for screening will be notified by August 30. Award-winners will be announced and selected films screened on September 7, 2019 at the Harvest of Art Celebration & Film Festival.
