Join our Marketing team as a Graphic Production Designer and work to interpret creative design standards and produce a high volume of assets for use in digital and print marketing. This role will also be responsible for creating impactful marketing assets utilized across different digital and print channels, including website, events, email, direct mail, social media and more. This role reports to the Marketing Creative Lead for creative direction and evaluation of designs.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Print responsibilities:

  • Create marketing materials (from start to finish) that adhere to company brand guidelines, communicate key messages, achieve established goals, and meet deadlines.
  • Assist with requesting quotes from multiple printers on various print collateral.
  • Accept markups/corrections and complete all necessary revisions while meeting deadlines.
  • Participate in design meetings to lead discussions on designs, offering creative ideas
  • and design suggestions.
  • Package and prepare files for printers, manage communication with printers to make sure delivery needs are met.
  • Work closely with the Creative Lead to fulfill work requests while showing flexibility in support of the overall department’s goals.
  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships throughout the museum and with external partners.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Digital Responsibilities:

  • As needed, develop, build, test, and optimize highly segmented mass emails using HTML and CSS.
  • Ensure all assigned mass emails are deployed by deadline.
  • Coordinate creative assets with the design team to ensure all email content is on-brand and consistent in style.
  • Ensure that assigned email adheres to accessibility guidelines and renders well in all appropriate email clients based on analytics.
  • Assist with the development and necessary coding for social media and Facebook (specific) campaigns.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • No formal education required.
  • Design portfolio required
  • Demonstrated ability and knowledge to code emails, experience with modular responsive/fluid emails a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and production of both digital and print marketing collateral.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a high volume, structured production environment with time-bound workflows and deadlines.
  • Proven ability and knowledge of HTML, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and at least one industry-standard mass email platform.
  • Strong layout and typography skills (in both print and digital).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, ability to prioritize work and manage a high-volume workload.
  • Cultural competency and experience working with diverse communities.
  • Willingness to be open and respectful of all backgrounds.
  • Fluency in language(s) other than English valued (Hmong, Somali, Spanish).

Hiring Pay Range: $18.00 - 21.00+ hourly / Depending on Qualifications.
