The Minnesota State Arts Board is seeking well qualified candidates for the following position.
Program officer, Minnesota Percent for Art in Public Places program
The Percent for Art program officer provides professional artistic and administrative leadership for, and manages all aspects of, the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the State of Minnesota's Percent for Art in Public Places program (authorized by Minnesota Statutes, section 16B.35). The program officer will expand the State of Minnesota's permanent art collection by facilitating the purchase or commission of new works of art for state funded buildings. The program officer also will maintain the State's permanent collection of works, ensuring that ongoing repair and maintenance needs are met.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
