The Minneapolis Arts Commission assists the city to foster a vibrant creative environment by advising City officials, departments, and neighborhoods; serving as a liaison for the community; and advocating for the arts. Members of the Arts Commission must be residents or property tax payers of Minneapolis.
Are you an artist, an arts administrator or an arts advocate interested in influencing how the city works with the arts community? Then you may be interested in participating on the Minneapolis Arts Commission. The Arts Commission has open positions this fall. The City seeks applicants with a diversity of backgrounds and experiences representing the demographics of Minneapolis to strengthen the work of the City.
Translation and interpreting services are available so all residents can participate.
- Administrative staff or board member of an arts organization
- Non arts professional but an arts advocate
