Kulture Klub Collaborative's mission is to engage art and artistic practice for youth experiencing homelessness and artist to grow individually and to transform community. Founded in 1992, KKC provides access to the arts with onsite drop-in activities, visits to exhibits and performances in the community, and ongoing artist-in-residence projects. No other arts organization in the state works exclusively with youth experiencing homelessness.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Development Specialist is a proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative team member who plays an essential role in maintaining a high quality of relationships and programming. The PDS is not only skilled at program development and execution, but also aids in the cultivation of a supportive space and is a safe adult for youth participants to connect with. Kulture Klub Collaborative values relationships and this position brings an invaluable level of consistency to participants’ lives, as well as communications with teaching artists and our supporters. This is an hourly position (25-30 hours/week) with benefits.
- 3+ years experience in program coordination and/or development of artistic programs.
- Relevant experience working with youth in an educational, artistic, or supportive setting.
- Proficiency in database, social media, and other communications-related and website platforms.
- Passionate about the combination of art, youth, and community as a tool for individual, social, and racial justice.
