Red Hot Art Festival in Stevens Square Park is Accepting Artist & Vendor Applications through June 25, 2018
Red Hot Art Festival @ Stevens Square is a diverse arts and music festival held annually in Stevens Square Park (1801 Stevens Ave S, Minneapolis). Sponsored by the Stevens Square Community Organization, the 2018 festival will be Saturday July 21 (11am-6pm) and Sunday July 21 (11am - 5pm).

NEW for 2018: Artists will be able to pick their own booth space! Booth space will be available by first come - first serve. The artist who signs up first will be the first to pick which spot they would like to setup.

The call for artists is open to all Minnesota residents. Out of state applicants will not be considered. All artwork must be original art conceived and executed by the artist. Local, independently owned art and craft suppliers may also apply to be vendors.
Red Hot Art Festival @ Stevens Square aims to be a diverse festival. If there are an excessive amount of applicants in any given medium, we reserve the right to refuse artists in order to maintain a balance of work. Artists not accepted in the past are encouraged to reapply. :
Individual Booth Space: $125
Two Artists sharing a single booth: $140
Artists may apply for a booth space, and exhibit within that space as an individual or share that space with other artists (TWO artists maximum per booth). If applying for a shared booth space, please note the artists you wish to share with on the space provided on the online application form. If you are selling work made collaboratively under one name/business name, you need to submit only one application. Unless the work is created collaboratively (and sold under one name/business), all artists are required to submit an online application (this is for our records; the fee remains $125).
The booth space is 10' by 10.' All booth artists and vendors are responsible for their own tents, tables, chairs, and setup/teardown equipment as well as display materials.
If accepted, the Booth Space fee is $125 (non-refundable) for the weekend.
*Returning artists, please note that the $125 booth fee is a flat fee, and differs from the stacked fee (based on the number of artists in each booth space) used in previous years.
Community Tent: $60
Please consider applying for an Individual/Shared Booth Space.**
Red Hot Art Festival @ Stevens Square provides space for twenty artists in three Community Tents. These shared spaces allow emerging artists the opportunity to participate in an art fair in a low-cost manner. Each artist has an approximate 5 x 5' space within which to display their art. An artist is limited to Two (2) years of participation in the community tent. After two years of participation an artist must participate by using a single or shared booth space and will not be eligible for the community tent.
All artists in the Community Tents are required to provide their own display table (not larger than 5' by 3') and chair. Artists must supply their own display materials. There are no means of hanging art from the tent itself—all displays must be self-supporting. Artists within the Community Tents are responsible for the collection of all payments and fees for their own sales.
Please note: the Community Tents have tops but do not have walls. Please plan accordingly. Spaces within the Community Tent will be assigned. No extra space will be available.
If accepted, the Community Tent fee is $60 (non-refundable) for the weekend.
Acceptance into Red Hot Art Festival @ Stevens Square:
If accepted to participate, artists will receive a contract to sign and return to the Stevens Square Community Organization with your booth or community tent fee.
