Minnesota Center for Book Arts (MCBA) is currently accepting applications for a full-time Retail and Visitor Services Manager to oversee The Shop at MCBA, a retail store specializing in cards, journals, handmade artist’s books, prints, zines, art supplies, and creative gifts that highlight the book arts and book artists.
The Retail and Visitor Services Manager 1) Ensures that all retail and consignment items in The Shop represent and reflect MCBA’s mission and goals for growth; 2) Oversees a growing consignment program of over 250 local, regional, and international artists; 3) Manages a team of 3-4 Shop and Visitor Associates; 4) Provides direct retail and customer service to patrons; and 5) Works closely with MCBA staff to implement successful events and promotional opportunities. The position is a 40 hour per week commitment at a salary of $35,000.
