Volunteers Needed for Saint Paul Art Collective Board
Do you have a passion for the arts? Do you love the vibrancy of Saint Paul? Are you interested in helping the local art community grow and succeed?
Then we have an opportunity for you!
The St. Paul Art Collective (SPAC) is accepting applications for two openings on the SPAC Board of Directors. Some of the Board’s current projects and programs include the upcoming Lowertown and Town Square Holiday Bazaars, a Winter Carnival Art Show, the spring and fall Saint Paul Art Crawls, monthly Lowertown First Fridays and Art in the Park at the Saints Ballpark, CHS Field. We are also part of a committee working with the City of St Paul to find studio space for artists displaced by gentrification. The Board meets from 6 to 8 pm on the third Monday of every month.
Board members are expected to be part of the organization’s key business decisions, and help shape and mold SPAC programs, while evaluating impact and effectiveness.
The St. Paul Art Collective is committed to having a diverse Board community, and Board members do not need to be artists. Local residents and business owners from throughout the city of St Paul are encouraged to apply. Board member terms are for two years.
Please submit a letter of interest and your resume by November 20, 2016 to [email protected]
Selected applicants will be interviewed by a committee from our current Board and we plan to make selections at our monthly meeting on Monday, December 19, 2016.
