In this Issue: New Dimensions
We've got some meaty ideas for you to chew on this week. The emerging theme in this issue's featured articles has to do with preternaturally acute cultural insight – the sort of awareness forged in the existential tension that arises in an individual straddling diverse cultures and mores.
- HOMEPAGE: Ann Klefstad's terrific essay on Julie Buffalohead's deceptively charming new paintings, a review of Linda LeGarde Grover's new story collection, The Dance Boots, by acclaimed poet Connie Wanek, a new mnLIT winner, and a fresh Ampers radio sampler
- NEWS YOU CAN USE: A selection of current news and artist opportunities drawn from mnartists.org's regularly updated community bulletin board
- YOU ARE HERE: A handpicked assortment of exhibitions, festivals, readings, film and music, theater, and dance for the coming weeks
PLUS: Rochester Art Center celebrates five years' worth of emerging artists
