Elizabeth Ihekoronye is a visual artist living and working in Minnesota. She is currently completing her studio art degree at Augsburg University. She has explored many mediums of art, but has taken a fond interest in pastel painting, and graphic design. Elizabeth is a self-taught pastel artist, who’s work reflects her desire to expand the black imagination through personal symbolism. Her pastel work is inspired by renaissance and baroque art as well as 19 century European art. In her graphic design work, she focuses on creating very detailed black and white scenic designs. Across both mediums Elizabeth is able to create rich scenes that explore intrapersonal understanding.
