I grew up in Blaine, MN with my blended family. I use art making as a means to earn a four year degree.
The main elements of my work art are repetition, variety, and control. My work is centered around the topic of anxiety and coping mechanisms. I use a variety of media, allowing the concept of my work to dictate which materials I use. Recently, I've used crafting techniques to create lifesaving devices, such as life jackets out of quilting materials.
