Try It! Bead Loom Weaving
Learn how beads can be used on a loom to create folk-inspired motifs or
contemporary looks. Students weave one or more bracelets to learn the
technique. In the class, students explore several ways to construct
homemade looms and learn about commercially made bead looms. Different
types of closures and clasps will be incorporated into this creative
project. No weaving or beading experience is required to enjoy this
class. Participants may choose to bring their own size 11° seed beads
and/or delicas, or use those provided by the instructor. Materials fee
$10, payable to the instructor for a basic bead weaving kit.
