A 24 hour festival of performance
Artery 24 - twenty-four hours of performance and new media.
July 5th and 6th. Beginning at 12 noon on July 5th. Ending at 12 noon on July 6th.
Artery 24 showcases Twin Cities and International artists approaching performance from a myriad of backgrounds in synthesis with screenings of new media work. For each hour of the twenty-four hour period a different artist/dancer/musician/puppeteer/actor or collaboration of the aforementioned will be featured. Artery 24 is a non-stop engagement and an act of endurance, daring the will of the spectator to attend for as long as possible, but also to come and go as they please upon the hour.
The New Media element of the event will run throughout the twenty-four hours during interludes. Minneapolis Art on Wheels will present a projection on the back of the building at Midnight, which will last until dawn disrupts projection.
In addition to 24 hours of performance, there will also be an Italian Banquet 7pm - 9pm. Space is limited to 14 people.
