This class is primarily for beginner photographers, but experienced people may find it helpful as well. The class will discuss the various aspects of composition, including tips and techniques on these topics related to composition: Subject matter and general tips, Lighting, Portraits, Action, Background, Perspective, and Rule of Thirds. In addition to composition, we will spend some time discussing the basic functions of digital cameras and how to use them for creating better photographs. Please bring the manual for your camera to the class. The class will consist of lecture, including examples of photographs containing the techniques and tools covered in the presentation, with the remainder of the time for review of participants work and critiques. Participants are encouraged to bring digital images on media or prints for review and critique. This will help with the improvement of future photographs.
